Vintage Snowspeeder Star Wars Empire Strikes Back - plus Luke Skywalker Pilot Figure. Lucas Film LTD (LFL) 1980.
This is good example, perfect for display. The toy comes in a good, gently-played condition. The plastic has been cleaned and reconditioned. New reproduction decals/stickers - good quality, close in colour and design to original.Canopy hatch and acrylic wind shield is in good condition. The 2 front laser cannons are a little loose, but do hold in place - however, this was very common even from new. Battery compartment is clean and free from corrosion. Pushing the square button underside activates Laser lights and sound - all fully functional.
The Landing strut lowers/raises and can be held in place by lever. Cable attachment block and Harpoon - high quality reproduction, very close in design to original. Vintage Luke Skywalker Pilot figure. Comes with repro blue laser blaster. The Snowspeeder was a type of T-47 Airspeeder manufactured by Incom Corporation and modified by the Rebel Alliance.
During the Battle of Hoth in The Empire Strikes Back, Luke Skywalker piloted a Snowspeeder against the Empire's ground forces, and instructed the other snowspeeder pilots to use their harpoons and cables to aim for the legs in an attempt to take down the massive Imperial AT-AT walkers in order to give the Rebels enough time to evacuate the snow planet.
