Up for sale, a 1978 Star Wars R2-D2 12 Back action figure, mint on the original card. One of the original 12 figures released by Kenner in 1978, this figure is the 12 Back "B" variant.
The card sits very flat with bold graphics, with some minor veining adjacent to the punch and on the lower right third of the card, along with a couple smaller veins on the back telegraphing the shape of the bubble. The bubble is perfectly clear with the original telltale "waffle" seal. There are a couple dings along the top bubble edge and some crunching of the stem as well, with one tiny pinhole in the bubble adjacent to the forward left edge of the footer, and a fractional amount of bubble lift just to the right of the stem. The figure is bright white with an unaged sticker and dark blue dome. Items are packed by collectors and for collectors, and we take great care with protecting all paper items and accessories.
