STUNNING VTG Star Wars PALITOY John Menzies ROTJ FigureShip Collection POSTER
That more than speaks of my trust - that you can deal here with me very safely & in complete confidence for this. EXTREMELY SCARCE : vintage early 1983 pre-jedi Star wars Palitoy Figure & vehicle range John menzies promo poster in fantastic condition! I'm sure most of you looking will be aware of just how extremely rare it is to find this pre- Jedi era John Menzies Exclusive Palitoy promo poster in ANY condition at all, never mind looking as good as this.. As far as my knowledge goes these started to appear in store around the end of January - beginning of February 1983 - just prior to Jedi's release in May.
Again -As far as I'm aware the Menzies large city stores received 100 each and the smaller town Menzies stores received a case of 50 each - when they were gone they were gon. Needless to say very few of these exclusive posters survived & even fewer have in nice condition like this. Poster has Excellent colour with little or no fading at all. The edges are great - Images remain just as when new - F eatures are the famous classic full metal prototype endor speeder bike, and of note : luke skywalker jedi with Blue saber.
Earlier esb hoth scout walker. Looks stunning framed up - It's around A1 size. I've owned this for at least 20 years now and have kept it flat framed and out of the way of any sort of direct light etc - which has contributed to why this looks so good today. On the very odd occasion these do turn up for sale they are 99% of the time faded, have ripped or missing corners, are badly stained, pin holed, or ripped or of course all of these.
This one really is as good as your ever likely to find. Has some age related grime and wear, stains on the white glossy reverse side.. There is some minimal edgewear, colour loss, crease, inc a couple of very small edge tears but as you see nothing anywhere near drastic.. Has the usual sort of weird mottle/crease look you get on most of these posters made of this vtg type/style of paper, it's more prominent in the centre area at top & bottom portions. There's no fold lines as it's never been square folded.There's no repairs or touch ups. For safety purpose this will be posted rolled in a tough big tube.
Due to size the high cost is unavoidable. If more I'll obviously pay it for you. My huge photo's speak louder than words! Nice & big & clear for viewing on laptops - I've been made aware that the photo's are not so great nor very big on phones - so if you've laptop you'll see this better.
